Geoffrey Going is an actor, singer, song writer, host, broadcaster, stunt performer, martial artist, and producer. He is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), The American
Federation of Radio and Television Artists (AFTRA), Actors Equity
Association (AEA), and the American Guild of Variety Artists (AGVA). His acting credits include work on film, television, stage, and commercials.
Geoffrey has worked on numerous television shows throughout his career, including being featured as the character, "Troy" on CBS's "The Young & The Restless". While on this EMMY winning soap opera, he was photographed on set and featured in an issue of "CBS Soaps in Depth" magazine.
He worked on NBC's "The CAPE", a "Mike and Molly" Halloween special where he played "Julius Caesar", "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", and other television shows.
Geoffrey has acted in a variety of commercials, including a spoof on the "ALLSTATE" Insurance "MAYHEM" commercials, where he played the Mayhem man. This aired in Texas and Colorado. He has also been featured in GAP, NOKIA, and American Airline commercials.
Geoffrey has performed on stage and in concert productions in New York, Los Angeles, London, and China. Geoffrey received an "LA STAGE and SCENE AWARD" for his portrayal of "Jean Valjean" in the stage production "Les Miserables". He also was nominated for a "Broadway World Award" for his portrayal of "Captain Walker" in the sold out Los Angeles revival of "The Who's Tommy" at The MET Theatre. Geoffrey portrayed the classical composer "Felix Mendelssohn" in "Mendelssohn! On Wings of a Song", which was a
participant in the Los Angeles Opera's Ring Festival. He portrayed "Chris" in the stage production "Miss Saigon", and continued to tour with his concert/one man show.
After performing his solo show at The Canyon Club, Geoffrey portrayed
"Jekyll" and "Hyde" in "Jekyll and Hyde", as well as "Ladislao" in the World Premiere "CAMILA".
Geoffrey sings in the pop, rock, musical theatre, standards, classical, and jazz styles. He can sing in the Italian, French, German, and Spanish languages. He has performed in musicals, operas, rock concerts, cruiselines, and private events, which include celebrity and high profile clients. He's a recording artist and has recorded solo work as well as cast recordings. Currently he is in the studio recording original songs for his first album. Geoffrey has also been a producer and director for film and theatre. He was assistant stage director for Bill Borden's stage production, "Locals Only". Geoffrey produced the film "Marie" and also was the film director and
writer on the short film SCI-FI thriller "Code Level 9". He was assistant to Emmy Award winning producer Michael Gallant and the
production coordinator for the educational series "Journeys Below The
Line": "LOST","ER", and "24" presented by the Academy of Television Arts
& Sciences Foundation. Geoffrey has co-produced music concerts at venues like
the Key Club in Hollywood, Upstairs at Vitellos, and The Canyon Club with prominent promoters.
Geoffrey received his B.A. with honors in acting from UC Irvine. He studied singing and acting at The Boston Conservatory. He has trained at New York, Los Angeles, and London acting studios/ workshops, including The Groundlings School in Hollywood, CA.. Geoffrey has trained for film/ tv stunts at XMA World Headquarters in North Hollywood, and has trained in three martial arts since he was a child. Geoffrey studied film, television, and music producing, production, and screenwriting at UCLA Extension, Santa Monica College, and Los Angeles City College.
